One of our team just came back from a fact finding mission to Venice, Rome. What did they find ? That Venice can still beautiful even in heavy fog! Apparently we were just unlucky with the weather, but we couldn't complain, still got to enjoy the great food Italy is famous for along with a few cheeky Aperol Spritz Cocktails and glasses of Prosecco.
We stayed at the Hilton Molino, a great hotel for a romantic city break with a loved one but surprisingly on the flip side also an amazing conference destination for business travellers. On any visit don't forget to stop by Piazza San Marco and visit Cafe Florian, famous for being the oldest coffee shop in Europe, in continuous operation since 1720. It can be pricey but well worth a visit for a quick coffee and desert whilst taking a break from some taking in the sights.
